LCTI did not describe the threat but said state police found it "credible." Movement was restricted on campus until all high school students were dismissed at 3:17 p.m., administrators said in a message on their website.
Evening adult education classes will continue as scheduled.
Upper Macungie police have arrested a suspect in connection with the incident, LCTI said.
